Dave and Dennis,
The plot using "stereographic" for
"polar stereographic map projection" data is perfect now.
ftp://ftp.caps.ou.edu/users/yli/oban/oban02.ncl
ftp://ftp.caps.ou.edu/users/yli/oban/oban02.pdf
Here is a summary.
My regional data obtained from "polar stereographic
map projection" can be plotted by NCL "stereographic".
However, "mpCenterLatF = 90. " must be used because
polar projection is centered at "north pole".
Thanks.
Yongzuo

Sorry Yongzuo, I meant to say set mpCenterLatF to 90.

Hi Yongzuo,
It's because the map projection parameters you are setting do not match the projection of the data. Try setting mpCenterLonF to 90.

Hi,
I am using ftp://ftp.caps.ou.edu/users/yli/oban/oban02.ncl
to plot ftp://ftp.caps.ou.edu/users/yli/oban/oban02.pdf
The area over right edge is empty. All other plots of map
and contours are absolutely correct and match each other
exactly. All data are under the same directory
ftp://ftp.caps.ou.edu/users/yli/oban/
Any help is appreciated !
