Drawing a Gantt Chart would be possible.
However, there is no handy-dandy Gantt Chart function
and I am not aware of anyone creating one. There are
many varieties of these (google for more)

So .... some NCL elements that could be used to develop one:

A table:

See examples 4 & 5

A 'plot object': Define the region where "time" (top axis)
and text (left axis) are located.
But instead of filling the boxes with text (as in the taylor
examples) draw a polyline, possibly with polymarkers/different
colors/thicknesses.

It would be fun!!! ..... for someone else!!
