Dear Scientific programming experts,

I wonder if you could offer a tip to resolve the following conflict that I encountered when compiling ictrans in ncl-ncargraphics:

(1) the main program is in c; compiled ok with gcc
(2) sub/func include fortran; compiled ok with pgf90
(3) when linking the gcc main object and the pgf90 sub object, error occurred with messages suggesting the mixup of libraries. The gcc version was 4.1.2, and pgf90 version was 10.5. The system may be 'infected' with
necessary updates required by ncl_ncargraphics version 5.2.1; but (pgf90 main + gcc subs) is ok.

With best regards,
Paul
