[1] When you send to ncl-talk, please put an appropriate Subject
     topic. "Need help" is not appropriate.

[2] The functions and procedures within the "diagnostics_cam.ncl"
     library were developed for a specific purpose. They were not
     written for general flexibility. The functions within were
     made available to the NCL community on an "as is" basis.

[3] Users can always copy a library; extract the desired function or
     procedure; modify as desired; load and use the modified library.
