wind rose plots

I want to plot wind rose from wrfoutput files.
I checked all the scripts rose_1.ncl to rose_4.ncl.
All the scripts use
wrData=wr_GenBogusData (200)

How does one get this data from wrfoutput file?

I will appreciate some help to get wind rose plots from a wrfoutput file.
