NCL Developers,

I am inquiring about specific humidity. How exactly is it calculated in the
function, *mixhum_ptrh*? The equation I find from previous e-mails is q =
rh * ((ep*es)/(p-es)). I assumed this to be the correct form of
Clausius-Clapeyron. Do units work out though? If ep and es are in mb and rh
is in percent, how do the units work out to kg/kg? I obtain just units of
mb. Is this just a proxy? Thanks.

-Zac
