Thank you for your kind help.In the link http://disc.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/precipitation/documentation/TRMM_README/TRMM_2A25_readme.shtml/
it is written that the value of Corrected Z-factor should be in the range of 0-80dBZ.But In the attached plot obtained,using the script you provided is showing very high value.Even if the values are scaled by 100 (as mentioned in website),the values are in the range of -9000 to 1000. The missing value maintioned here is -9999 and ground clutter is -8888.
This work is a part of my Ph.D work,so if you kindly help in this regard I will be very grateful.

These 2A25 hdf files are poorly constructed. HDF and netCDF are supposed
tp be 'self-describing'. Unfortunately, there is no file information
that indicates what -8888 represents. It should be set to _FillValue.
