I have been trying to download MODIS AEROSOl data (Continental USA) for the

familiar with HDF data and can not read it , I can not tell whether that is

if there is script in NCL or other languages to read the data and extract
for a given lat/lon. My intention is to get AODs at 380nm and 550nm wave
lengths (from the AODs at the existing wave length)
