NhlRealloc Error

Dear NCL World,
                I ran into an error (NhlRealloc) that I do not understand.
ncl 0> load "$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/gsn_code.ncl"
ncl 1> begin
ncl 2> a=addfile("K1VHR_23DEC2011_0000_L02_IMR.hdf","r")
ncl 3> printVarSummary(a)
ncl 4> end

fatal:NhlRealloc Failed:[errno=25]
fatal:NhlRealloc Failed:[errno=25]
fatal:NhlRealloc Failed:[errno=25]

I am using NCL v6.1.0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
