Emanuele,

You've asked a good question. I'm guessing you want to draw the labelbar in the exact location that it would be if the plot were there too?

Can I ask why you need the labelbar on a separate page? It may be that there's another way for doing what you're trying to do.

Anyway, Adam already pointed you to two examples, and I added another example to tthe same page showing how to *exactly* reconstruct a labelbar in the same location.

By the way, using V6.1.0-beta of NCL, you can now import existing images (like those from Google Earth) into NCL and draw plots on top of them.
