calculating power-frequency plots of PCs

hi,

I am familiar with NCL and I have used many of the routines outlined on the page: http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/mjoclivar.shtml to
analyze the MJO produced in various CAM simulations.

I cannot figure out how to make a plot that shows the power spectra of the unfiltered PCs (obtained by projecting the leading
EOFs onto unfiltered data). This is commonly done in MJO analyses as in the figure I have attached below. Are there MJO functions that
produce similar plots? I have used NCL to produce the PCs, now I would like to plot them in the way shown in the figure. Any help
anyone could offer would be much appreciated,
