plot gfs grib2 files

Hi all,
I have gfs.t00z.pgrb2bf00 file, downloaded from
ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod/gfs.2012121000/

Now I need to plot zonal and meridional winds at 850 mb, in one plot:
Wind Speed: shaded
Wind direction: streams

I would ask if there is some code or example which can do it?
