Transparent background in Workstation (RGBA in wkBackgroundColor)

Hi all, 

        With all the recent transparency availability, and this may be a very specific desire, I’m wondering if I can output a plot with contour lines (or anything really) and a transparent background so I can then overlay these plots in a web application.  

I currently have ways of doing this in imagemagick but that adds a couple of extra steps, that I feel could possibly all be handled in NCL.  

Apologies if this is obvious and the solution is out there, I tried with a couple of experiments using wkBackgroundColor to no avail.
