Re: segmentation fault when converting grib to nc

You have a version of NCL that is over 3 years old. You may want to consider upgrading to version 6.1.2.

In NCL version 6.1.0, we fixed a bug for handling GRIB2 files over 2 GB.

If you can provide us with the file, then we can take a look at it and make sure NCL works on it before you upgrade.
You can use our ftp account, or put the file somewhere we can get it.
