Thanks Marry and Verena,
I tried the example, but still have a problem in a panel plot.
I still cant find what's exactly the problem. The frame is covering the
whole panel not an individual panel (attached).
e.g.
plot(0) = gsn_csm_contour_map_polar(wks,comp1, res) ; create plot object
plot(0) = ZeroNegDashLineContour (plot(0)) ; Make negative cn lines
dash
*draw_bb_box(wks,plot(0))*
etc
