    Marjolaine,

    You don't want to use equal signs or quotes in a resource file.
    Instead, use colons, and remove the quotes. For example:

    *tmXBLabelFont : Helvetica-bold
    *tmYLLabelFont : Helvetica-bold
    *tmYLLabelFontHeightF : 0.012
    *tmXBLabelFontHeightF : 0.012
