easy 3D plot

Hi,

I have a question. Is there an easy way to do a 3D plot? Suppose I have an
ascii file in which there are three columns: x positions, y positions, and
values of parameter. How to do an iso-surface plot with this set of data?
The ncl website is somewhat hard to understand for me.
