NCL binary for Intel/Mac

Hi all,

This is a heads up that we now have an "official" NCL binary for the
relatively new Intel MacOS systems. We have MacOSX binaries for the
older PowerPC systems (both Tiger and Panther) available for download
as well.

To download any NCL binaries, you need to register on the Earth System
Grid website (a one-time process):

    http://www.earthsystemgrid.org/

For more information on the whole process of registering, downloading,
and installing the software:

    http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/

For those of you that are curious, we used gcc and g95 to build NCL on
the Intel Mac. At the time, g77 wasn't yet available.
