Hi Jorge,

I would think so, something along the lines of the example

wrf_wps_show_domain_lambert_DC.ncl

from the link you cited. There, a single polymarker is added to the map produced by the WRF script; you would replace that draw command with your shapefile drawing code. Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, the maps provided by NCARG are very generic in South America and only include the country boundaries but not state boundaries. Where can I find them? or can I introduce them into NCL scripts? I have them as shapefiles from GIS. Any idea how?
