Overlay NCEP fnl data upon wrfout data

Dear Sir,

 I have tried a lot to overlay NCEP fnl_* (GRIB1) files upon WRF ARW output
files,which I want to compare the sea level pressure and other variables of
each data. But I can't find an efficient way to do that. I used general
gsn_csm_contour_map function to plot the fnl data and use wrf_map_overlays
to plot wrfout data separately and then use overlay(plot1,plot2) functions
trying to overlay them,failed of course because they have different data
set. And actually I can't get the same figure attributes such as size,
projection angles and etc with the gsn_csm_contour_map function and the
wrf_map_overlays function. Since I really love the figure format created by
wrf_map_overlays, I tried again to draw the fnl data with wrf functions
which may need to modify the data attributes in the .grb files and I don't
know how.

So,would you please kindly help me out of this problem?
