Hi, Thanks for the idea. My intention is to have in the x-axis the value of the plotted variable (e.g. temp, u, v, qv). I will try to see if I can manage to do so. At least it shows me how to extract the lat-lon point. Having a script like the one I am intended to I think will be useful for many people doing profiles verification and so on. Thanks again. This one specifically is time on the x-axis, but it will be the same for a single vertical profile. As a matter of fact, the last plots show a 2D profile in time. Hope this helps wrfhelp On Sun, 28 Aug 2011 21:32:55 -0600 Mary Haley <> wrote: > Hi Dorita, > > I think this question is more appropriate for I've CC'ed them. > --Mary > > On Aug 28, 2011, at 12:38 AM, Dorita Rostkier-Edelstein wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> Does anybody has a script to plot simple vertical profiles out of WRF output? >> >> I saw the skew-T plots scripts, but I am looking for much simpler plots, single profiles >> of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, moisture, etc. >> >> Thanks, >> >> Dorita >> _______________________________________________ >> ncl-talk mailing list >> List instructions, subscriber options, unsubscribe: >> >
