fatal:ContourPlotDraw: CPCLAM/AREDAM - UNABLE TO INSERT NODE INTO MAP

Hi everyone,

I used NCL to draw a cross-section plot from wrfout data, I did it very successfully with every times except one. When I do the wrong times, the ncl told me as follows,

fatal:ContourPlotDraw: CPCLAM/AREDAM - UNABLE TO INSERT NODE INTO MAP
fatal:ContourPlotDraw: draw error
warning:WorkstationDeactivate: workstation not active or not opened

I googled the fatal message, and it shows there may be NaNs in my data, but I print out my all data to be plotted, I did not find any NaNs in them. ( I also use the function isnan_ieee, and still no NaN found. )

If there are any other reasons for this fatal? Could you tell me why? Thanks a lot.
