Cheryl,

Please see the scatter plot example page:

http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/scatter.shtml

Examples scatter_5.ncl, scatter_6.ncl, and scatter_8.ncl show how to group data based on what range it falls in, and then assign a marker size/color to that range.

I wonder if ncl has a function to make such plot, or if not, how to modify the currently available functions to make such plot. Does anyone has any idea? thanks in advance.
