There are many ways to do such a bootstrapping test, some more robust than
others. I've put the version I use here:
ftp://filsrv.cicsnc.org/carl/examples/composite/
It's described in more detail in Schreck et al (2013):

which is also included on the ftp server.

I apologize if the code is a bit more complicated than necessary, but
hopefully you can follow it.
