Rick, Mike,

I missed the part about using the Fedora installed (called 'yum'). I've
had good results with the NCAR Graphics but don't recall seeing an NCL
element before in the repositories.

I'm not likely to have much time this week (I'm actually in the NCL
tutorial at CG...) but I can try to look next week.

Mike, try installing the NCAR Graphics devel package, too, if there is
one readily available. I've little doubt it's needed to get NCL to work.

I'd really like to see a solid NCARG/NCL package for
RHEL/CentOS/Scientific Linux and Fedora, as well. I was really happy to
find NCARG in the repositories.
