using 2d coord variables

hi there.

I love the ability to use 2d coord variables to plot directly in
physical space as is done with the POP data on the CSM website.

I have been using this ability quite successfully though....

when I attempt to use gsn_csm_contour (I want to overlay these contours
on another base plot) I get the error

warning:tmYLMinorLengthF is not a valid resource in
/omg_853_132_36_47_39_53_contour.PlotManager at this time
warning:NhlGetValues:Error retrieving tmYLMinorLengthF
fatal:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 1350 in file

help!
