Hi Claus,
I think we need more information. Does the segmentation fault happen
after the creation of plots(0), plots(1), or after the gsn_panel call?
Does the panel plot get drawn, looks good, and prints out OK?
Scanning at your script, nothing jumps out at me as being wrong...
