You can also look at a bunch of NCL functions by looking at any of the
NCL scripts in

   $NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm

These are ASCII files that you can open with a UNIX editor. You might
want to copy
one to a personal directory, rather than opening it directly.
