time variable in netcdf

Dear NCL users,

I am trying to use CRU monthly climatology file
cru_ts_3_00.1901.2006.tmx.nc(1.32GB) to view data for Bangladesh and
West Bengal of India. I slightly
modified the cru_1.ncl and was able to get a plot. The data has 1272 time
files and I don't know for which time period the plotting is done. To remove
confusion I used NCO's ncks and extracted January 1971 data for the required
domain (ncks -H -d time,840 -d lat,20.75,27.75 -d lon,85.75,93.25 cru_ts_3_
00.1901.2006.tmx.nc tmax-197101.nc) which is attached (tmax-197101.nc). Then
I used the same attached ncl script to plot the data but I got the following
error. NCL version is 5.2.0 (MAC OS 10.6).

fatal:Subscript out of range, error in subscript #0
fatal:An error occurred reading T
fatal:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 69 in file cru_jag.ncl

I am only in the learning process and help me to sort out the issue.
