clickable web map

Hi,

I'm trying to make a map that I will put on a webpage, so that one can click
on separate states to go to weather data from each state. I know how to
code the html and java script to do this. However, I am trying to find an
easy way of getting the state boundaries in viewport coordinates so that I
don't have to manually create the boundary data. Does anyone know how I
might be able to do this easily using any built-in ncl functions?
