Hi Xueli,
Try specifying lg@*lgLineLabelStrings* = ""
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Graphics/Resources/lg.shtml#lgLineLabelStrings

(There's a chance you need to set lg@*lgLineLabelStrings* =
(/"","","","","","",""/) )
