I am writing a cloud application for scientific purpose. I need to test NCL
support with a fair amount of CODE. I looked over the sample codes here:

Amazing. But anybody has the data files?
Example:
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Scripts/climo_3.ncl
I don't have this file, obviously:
a = addfile("xieArkin-T42.nc","r")
