Kamal,

These height/pressure examples won’t work for WRF data, because they expect your data to have 1D coordinate arrays (rectilinear grid). WRF is on a curvilinear grid and hence has 2D coordinate values.

You would either need to regrid your data to a rectilinear grid (see example ESMF_regrid_5.ncl at http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/ESMF.shtml), or perhaps wrfhelp may have other suggestions. I’ve CC’ed them here.
