Setting lbLabelStride = 2 changes the label bar labeling to every 2nd
label. Note this resource only applies when you are drawing a label bar,
which in the last image you sent you were not. If you modified things to
draw a panel label bar, then lbLabelStride needs to be set in the panel
resource list (resP). If instead you are drawing a label bar for each
plot, then lbLabelStride needs to be set in the individual plot resource
list (in your case: res)

Finally, if you are using v6.1.0, and you are indeed drawing a labelbar,
then lbLabelAutoStride defaults to False:

and if you wish to use lbLabelStride you also need to set
lbLabelAutoStride = False
