Yongxin,

 From your code, it looks like you are producing 15 markers and 15
strings, and that's
what I see on the plot you attached. The markers don't appear to be
cut off in any fashion.

Am I missing something?

BTW, you should consider putting a custom ".hluresfile" in your home
directory so you
can change the default "times-roman" font to "helvetica", which looks
a little better.
