NCL Workshop Schedule

The following is the general layout for a 4-day NCL workshop.

Note that the labs are listed as optional, but we strongly feel that this is where students learn the most. Usually we start the workshops on a Tuesday, reserving Monday for lab set up.

Day 1 (generally a Tuesday)
8:30-8:45	Computer setup (instructor will be on hand to help you login and set up your environment if necessary)
8:45- 9:00	Introduction of people in class, and short history of NCL
9:00-10:15	Lecture: *NCL Language Basics*
10:15-10:30	Coffee/tea break

12:00-1:00	Lunch break
1:00-1:45	*Interactive demo*
2:00-5:00	Lab
Day 2 (generally a Wednesday)

10:15-10:30	Coffee/tea break

11:30-11:35	Quick break for setup
11:35-11:50	*NCL website tour* (May be moved to after lunch if necessary)
