NCL+VAPOR Workshop Schedule

The following is the general layout for a four-day NCL+VAPOR workshop. The VAPOR component was added for the first time for the summer 2018 workshop.

The hands-on labs are highly important. This is where students learn the most, as the focus will be on using your own datasets of interest for analysis and visualization. All students who attend these workshops should make time for both lectures and labs.

DAY 1
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM	Check-in and pick up workshop materials

Students are expected to work with their own data files of interest during the labs. Instructors will ask about your data analysis objectives during the labs, and will help you use NCL and VAPOR to accomplish these objectives.
+Note on DAY 4
In some cases, the VAPOR lecture will not be offered. If so, then day 4 will be just an optional hands-on lab in the morning, and nothing scheduled for the afternoon.
